Conception: I've been doing (sitting) meditation for more than 3
years. Recently, I've noticed that there are days at work where my
mind gets lost and needs some help. Wednesday is a day when I don't
have any other meditation group to go to, so I thought it'd be helpful
to do a short sitting meditation session at work.
|
Result: Within a few hours I had gotten response from 20ish ppl
(out of total of 3000-4000 ppl), so the next day we sat. I brought
my bell from home to ring, and searching internet I found a guided
meditation from Thich Nhat Hahn, so I used that.

Action:
On the second tuesday
of the new year 2006, I sent out an email with my intention of doing
sitting meditation at work on wednesday at 12.10. I'd already booked a
conference room.
|
Now we're on the 8th month, and we're still growing! The email list
has about 87 members and were on average about 10 people every week. We've had Tibetan
monks visiting, invited speakers for introduction to meditation, and researchers speaking about mind sciences, and friends from other companies part-taking in the meditation.
